XS650 Project

I inherited this XS650 project off of Spencer a few months ago. This bike started off as a street tracker project that turned into a almost year long hard tail project. His plans were to build it , ride it for a bit then sell for a Sportster. Well he bought the Sportster before he finished the XS and wanted to start tearing into that bike first day. I had to put my foot down and say you gotta finish the XS before you start tearing up that Sporty. After a few beers at Pizza Port one Saturday I said I would finish the XS for him in trade for credit on parts to build the sporty. Long story short I have a XS650 I have to finish along with the half dozen other projects I have here in the shop. Here are a few pictures of what I got and what we have done.

HIATUS OVER

Been a while since we posted on the blog and thought we would start back up with some stuff we like around here at BenchMark. BenchMark is more than just parts for your chop, its a group of like minded people that enjoy hanging out at the shop fabricating, machining, and wrenching on whatever project we have going on. Anytime your around downtown Carlsbad come by for a beer and see what we are all about. Until then...

33 Ignition Covers

The guys over at ChopCult asked us to run some ignition covers of their design and straight out of the machine they look pretty cool.
Moving and renovating our new shop has been ridiculously slow and none of our finishing machines are up and running so the ChopCult crew is handling that.
Available in 2 bolt vertical, 2 bolt hoizontal & twin cam hole patterns.
Expect to see them up in The CC store with in the next couple of weeks.

The New Style

We had a few requests for simple style.

We'll try a dozen or so and see.
I used a scotch-brite pad the raised section for a little contrast but they'll go out the door all polished.
